Road Safety for Children

It’s never too early to educate your child about road safety. A great method for doing this is by introducing them to the Green Cross Code, which provides a procedure for safely crossing the road. Children learn to follow a series of step-by-step instructions that guide them to:

• Find the safest place to cross
• Look and listen for oncoming vehicles
• Wait until it’s safe to cross
• Finally, reach the other side of the road safely
