About us

Welcome to Solihull Health Visiting Service

The Solihull 0–19 Health and Wellbeing Service supports children, young people, and families from pregnancy through to 19 years old — helping every child in Solihull have the best possible start in life.

Our service brings together dedicated Health Visiting, School Nursing, Infant Feeding, and Family Nurse Partnership teams. We work closely with Family Hubs, GPs, schools, and other community partners to deliver the Government’s Healthy Child Programme, focusing on prevention, early intervention, and ongoing support for families.

Our Health Visitors provide advice and developmental reviews for children under five, covering topics such as feeding, sleep, safety, and emotional wellbeing. As children grow, our School Nursing team continues this support through school-age health checks, immunisations, and wellbeing guidance, helping young people stay healthy, confident, and ready to learn.

We also offer targeted support for parents who may need extra help, including access to family support workers, perinatal mental health advice, and local parenting programmes.

Our approach is simple — to provide every family with the information, care, and confidence they need at each stage of their child’s journey.

Together, we’re building healthier, happier futures for children and families across Solihull.
